Individual therapy
I provide individual therapy for adults navigating complexity, responsibility, and sustained pressure. Many clients are professionals, leaders, or people in demanding roles who are capable and outwardly functioning well, yet experiencing strain beneath the surface over time.
Therapy is structured, collaborative, and practical, with a focus on clarity, emotional regulation, and developing more sustainable ways of working and living over time.
Therapy may focus on areas such as:
Anxiety and emotional regulation
Anxiety often shows up alongside high responsibility and prolonged pressure – as heightened stress responses, constant vigilance, rumination, or difficulty switching off.
Therapy supports clients to better understand their emotional responses, regulate stress effectively, and think more clearly under pressure, particularly in fast-paced or high-stakes environments.
Stress, perfectionism, and burnout
Many clients seek therapy due to patterns of over-functioning, unrelenting standards, and difficulty resting or recovering – cycling between periods of intense productivity and exhaustion, often without clear warning signs early on.
Work in this area focuses on recognising these patterns early, addressing perfectionism and self-criticism, and supporting more sustainable approaches to work, performance, and self-expectation.
Interpersonal and workplace dynamics
Relationships – both personal and professional – play a significant role in psychological wellbeing, particularly in complex or hierarchical environments.
Therapy may support clients to:
- navigate interpersonal tension or conflict
- improve communication and boundary-setting
- manage leadership or role-related challenges
- develop greater confidence in relational decision-making
This work is especially relevant in environments where roles are complex, stakes are high and relationship dynamics are not always explicit.
Adult autism assessments
I offer comprehensive, strengths-based autism assessments for adults seeking clarity and a deeper understanding of their neurotype.
Assessments are particularly suited to adults who have spent many years masking or compensating, including those in professional or high-demand roles who are experiencing cognitive overload, burnout, or ongoing friction despite high capability.
The assessment process is collaborative and thorough, with findings translated into practical recommendations relevant to work, relationships, energy management, and self-advocacy.
Full details of the assessment process, fees, and suitability are outlined on the Autism Assessments page.
