About

About

I work with adults navigating complex, high-demand lives. Many of my clients are professionals, leaders, or people carrying significant responsibility who are capable and outwardly functioning well, yet privately managing sustained pressure, emotional and cognitive load, and high expectations.

I am a registered psychologist, and my work focuses on helping people develop greater clarity, emotional steadiness, and more sustainable ways of working and living – particularly in environments that are fast-paced, ambiguous, or demanding.

How I work

My approach is grounded in evidence-based psychology and informed by a deep understanding of high-pressure professional contexts. I work in a way that is calm, structured, and practical, with a strong focus on helping clients think clearly under pressure and respond rather than react in challenging situations.

I use a CBT-informed, integrative approach, drawing on approaches such as ACT, schema-informed concepts, and emotion regulation strategies where helpful.

Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, therapy often explores broader patterns – such as unrelenting standards, over-functioning, cognitive overload, or boom–bust cycles of work and energy – and supports clients to make thoughtful, sustainable changes over time.

Professional background

Before training as a psychologist, I worked in the professional services sector. My academic research focused on the relationship between workplace stressors, burnout, and mental health in lawyers, and this work continues to inform my clinical and organisational perspective.

This background means I bring strong contextual awareness to therapy – including an understanding of professional identity, performance pressure, interpersonal complexity, and the often unspoken demands of senior or high-responsibility roles.

Autism assessment and support

A significant part of my practice involves working with autistic adults, particularly those operating in complex professional or high-demand environments.

I conduct comprehensive, strengths-based autism assessments for adults seeking clarity, self-understanding, and practical guidance. Assessments are collaborative and thorough, with findings translated into clear, meaningful recommendations relevant to work, relationships, energy management, and self-advocacy.

This work is grounded in respect, curiosity, and an appreciation of the many ways neurodivergent people adapt, mask, and succeed – often at considerable personal cost.
