Adult autism assessments
Understanding your neurotype – Adult autism assessments
Many adults come to a point where they begin to wonder if they might be autistic, often after years of sensing that they experience the world a little differently from those around them. Some may have developed strategies to navigate social situations, manage sensory sensitivities, or mask aspects of themselves without ever having words to describe why.
Seeking an autism assessment as an adult is about gaining clarity and understanding. It can offer valuable insight into how your brain works, helping you make sense of your experiences, strengths, and challenges. An assessment can also support self-acceptance, relationship dynamics, and workplace needs.
I provide comprehensive, strengths-based assessments for adults who are curious about whether they may be autistic. These assessments explore key areas such as sensory processing, masking (camouflaging) strategies, and the impact of neurodivergent traits on daily life. I use a collaborative, interview-based approach (MIGDAS-2), designed to capture the richness of your lived experience in a conversational, supportive way. You will receive a personalised assessment report with practical recommendations to support your well-being and day-to-day functioning.
While my primary focus is autism, ADHD traits can also be explored if this feels relevant for you — either through screening or a full diagnostic process.
Assessments are designed for self-understanding and support planning. The fee for an adult autism assessment starts at $1,500, with ADHD exploration available as an optional add-on. For more information, including a detailed outline of what’s included, please get in touch.
